Jared Scott Murray, 43, of Toronto has passed away peacefully in his hometown of Pembroke with family by his side on September 12, 2024. He was the much–loved son of Danielle Stewart and Dr. Scott Murray (Sheila Handke). Jared leaves behind the greatest joy and love of his life, his 12–year–old daughter, Valerie, and her mother, Cheryl Laatsch of Toronto, where Jared called home for the last 20 years. He will be sadly missed by his two loving brothers, Jim Murray of Toronto and John Murray of Brentwood Bay, BC, along with his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his many good friends.
Jared attended school locally at Highview Public and Fellowes High. A Commerce Degree in Business Marketing provided him the background to work in Insurance for most of his career. Through Jared’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will be held on Monday October 14, 2024 at the Murphy Funeral Home 296 Isabella St Pembroke Ont. There will be visitation commencing at 9 am with a Service and memories to follow at 10:30 a.m. and a lunch after.
