One of Pembroke’s unique businesses downtown will be closing their doors soon. In a statement from the owners of Ottawa Valley Power Play Virtual Reality Arcade, they believe it’s the right time to move on to new adventures and we are seeking a buyer who is passionate about VR technology and dedicated to maintaining the arcade’s high standards. Operations will continue as usual until the end of summer.
The arcade has been a beloved piece of the city’s entertainment scene for both locals and tourists since its inception, almost 5 years ago, in October 2019. During that time we have offered a unique form of indoor recreation with a wide variety of VR experiences, ranging from escape rooms, team building activities, STEM camps, and high-tech games and activities for thousands of kids, adults, families and friends.
“We are thankful for the community’s support over the years, and we hope that the arcade will continue to thrive under new management. Unused gift certificates can still be redeemed until our closure date” the statement continues.
