The Renfrew County Health Coalition is pleased with response to last Thursday’s (the June 13th) Health Care Hearing held at the Almonte Civitan Hall.
Chapter President Leona Haley says there were many compelling personal stories shared, and a consensus expressed that Queen’s Park is misdirecting valuable Health Care funding.
Haley says about 50 people attended in person- ten of whom she recognized had travelled from Renfrew County for the session.
Sentiment was expressed for more direct contact with local hospital board members in raising privatization concerns.
The Renfrew County Health Coalition Chapter President says members of the public can still have their say.
