In a recent development, authorities from the Killaloe Detachment have taken action against a driver following a routine RIDE check conducted on May 11, 2024, in the Township of Madawaska Valley.
The incident unfolded just minutes before 11:30 p.m. when OPP members intercepted a passenger car along John Street, prompting further investigation into the driver’s condition.
Subsequently, the driver, identified as 28-year-old Jaimee Lynn Spencer from Madawaska Valley, was escorted to the detachment for comprehensive testing. Following the inquiry, Spencer was placed under arrest and charged with two offenses under the Criminal Code: impaired operation and operating a vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood.
