If spicy is your forte, then this is the event for you! The Killaloe Food Bank is putting on their first ever Mild to Wild fundraiser on May 25th at 8 PM at the Killaloe Lions Club. The event features chicken wing eating contests, dancing, live music, raffle prizes, and more, all in support of a great cause.
Donna Marie Cybulskie a volunteer at the food bank and the event organizer tells myFM that this event is all about raising money for the food bank while having fun doing it.
To purchase raffle tickets in advance, make sure to head to the LCBO in Killaloe on May 18th and the Killaloe Farmers Markets. Maureen MacMillan Director for the food bank explains how people who can’t attend the fundraiser can still support it.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd cash prizes for the winners of the hot wing eating challenge. MacMillan tells myFM that she appreciates any donations to the food bank as they take on new clients.
Anyone not able to make it out to the fundraiser are still encouraged to donate to the Killaloe Food Bank and help out your Neighbour’s.
