A Renfrew area poet simply doesn’t want the Earth to become a place where nothing can live.
David Robert Rae has reached out to myFM in hopes of sharing his poem “To be… or Not,” which features a harrowing vision for humanity’s fate if we don’t correct course on the environment.
The Earth Day poem is just one of his creative endeavours since taking up the arts following a life-threatening accident.
He adds that there’s no single group to blame for the growing dangers presented by climate change.
However, there is some encouraging action being taken as governments across the world attempt to fix the damage done to the earth by their own hands, including an increased focus on electric vehicles.
