Don’t miss your chance to support animals in need by participating in the Ontario SPCA’s Draws for Paws 50/50 Lottery! In their previous holiday lottery, one lucky winner took home over $74,000! Your contribution can have a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable animals, especially as we enter kitten and puppy season. Over the years, the Ontario SPCA has raised over $400,000 through Draws for Paws.
Heather Jobe, from Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Branch, highlights the impact of this fundraiser. “It’s a fun way for animal lovers to support our cause,” she explains.
Tickets are available in various packages: 10 tickets for $10, 40 tickets for $20, 200 tickets for $40, or 500 tickets for $75. The Grand Prize draw is scheduled for April 25th, so mark your calendars! But why wait? Purchase your tickets early and you’ll automatically be entered into two Early Bird draws on April 4th and 18th, each offering a chance to win $500! The jackpot is guaranteed to be $25,000, but with more tickets sold, it will grow even higher. You can track the jackpot on ontariospcalottery.ca, where the displayed amount represents the full sum to be won by the Grand Prize winner (50% of ticket sales). Jobe explains where the funds raised from the lottery go towards.
