Mother nature made it hard on staff and volunteers to keep the Laurentian Valley Skating Trail open this season. And now it’s officially closed for the year. Organizers had to make the tough decision to shut the skating trail down for good this week. Officials also mention that that the snowshoe trail has bare sections and hard packed snow. It is more suitable for walking. You can stay up to-date by following the LV Skating Trail Facebook page.
