Ryan Parent scored midway through the third period to snap a 2-2 tie and lift the Pembroke Lumber Kings to a 3-2 win over the visiting Nepean Raiders. The win pulled the Kings to within one point of the final playoff spot in the Central Canada Hockey League. The Kings have 46 points and four games in hand on the Carleton Place Canadians who are holding down the last post-season spot. The Kings also got goals from Josh Fortier and Cam Hicklin who leads the team in goals with 23 markers on the season. The Kings now face the number one team in the league, the Navan Grads on Sunday, February 25th at 7 p.m.
