Jerry Plante has picked up the keys to his brand new Hyundai Tucson SUV that he won through the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s Auto Lotto. Plante had the choice between the car or $30,000 and he chose the wheels. Dealer Principal of Hyundai Pembroke Shannon Slaughter says they are so proud of this community and all the contributions to this year’s Auto Lotto in support of the Cancer Care Campaign.
The PRH Foundation’s Executive Director Roger Martin said, “We are so excited for the winner, Jerry Plante, and even more excited that we were able to raise some incredible funds for local cancer care! It felt like there was some amazing energy in Renfrew County, as people were able to give back to a great cause while trying to win something so amazing. These dollars will help move us closer to the completion of our Cancer Care Campaign which has a goal of $3.5 million dollars. Every dollar will make a difference to a cancer patient and our frontline workers!
