A 38-year old from Deep River has been arrested after assaulting a police officer. Back on the 21st, police were called regarding a theft in progress at a business on Pembroke St. East. Officers located the person in question and made an arrest. Charlotte Sarazin was later charged with theft under $5,000, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and failing to comply with probation.
