The Town of Petawawa moved swiftly and unanimously to approve Bylaw 1608/23, allowing an agreement with the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to provide crucial animal shelter facilities and related services.
Introduced and supported by members of the town council, the bylaw easily passed its first, second, and final readings.
This unanimous decision at the council meeting, Monday the 18th, demonstrates the town’s strong commitment to animal welfare and its willingness to collaborate with the OSPCA to provide essential shelter services for animals in need.
