The Robbie Dean Centre invites you to Swing for a Cause on Wednesday, July 19th.
Jay Baker, a member of their fundraising team, tells us more about their upcoming Christmas in July golf tournament.
The afternoon at the Pembroke Golf Club will also feature plenty of food, friendly competition, and a silent auction, all in support of counselling services at the Robbie Dean Centre.
Baker says there are still some spaces open to take part for $150 a person if you’ve got the itch to head out and hit the links with them.
The Robbie Dean Centre is always looking for that next popular fundraiser that keeps people coming back year after year, and Baker says the Swing for a Cause tournament might just be one of them.
Luke Cyr, a retired Canadian solider who has benefited from the Robbie Dean Centre’s services in his fight with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, is co-hosting the event.
His not-for-profit organization, the Luke Cyr Foundation, raises money for the RDCC and the Caddie School for Soldiers.
Head to the Robbie Dean Centre’s fundraising events page to buy your tickets.
