The Deep River and District Hospital is hosting a Run for Home fundraiser later this month and there is still time to register. Community Engagement and Fundraising Coordinator for the hospital is James Thompson and he tells us what to expect.

Audio PlayerThey are offering a 2K, 5K, 10K, or a half-marathon. All the money raised goes towards the new long-term care home.
Audio PlayerThis new home, tentatively called the Four Seasons Lodge, will provide a significant reduction in the long-term care waitlist. The home will also employ 200 people with roughly $5M in annual wages going into the community. This project will transform healthcare in North Renfrew. Every participant will receive a tax receipt in the March 2024 for the amount they choose to donate. Tax receipts will only be issued for donations greater or equal to $20. Click Here to register.
