Everyone is invited to take part in the Red Dress Day Walk coming up on Friday. Red Dress Day is a day to remember murdered and missing indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people. The walk is being hosted by the Circle of Turtle Lodge, and spokesperson Stephania Smith tells myFM that you don’t have to book your spot.
The walk starts at 6pm and will go from Metro in Pembroke and will continue down Pembroke Street East, through the downtown. Smith also says there a few ways to participate.
The walk is also open to everyone.
