Cabin Fever in Petawawa has another five days of events scheduled and many are selling out.
The annual winter celebration in Petawawa started on January 20th and continues until Sunday, January 29th.
Mayor Gary Serviss encourages community members to take part in some of the events and enjoy themselves.
On Wednesday, January, 25th, there’s a free family skate from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
On Thursday, January 26th, there’s a snack and play from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and kid’s virtual trivia is sold out.
On Friday, January 27th, there’s a free family skate at the Civic Centre Arena from 11:30am to 12:30pm and adult trivia night in the Civic Centre Hall is sold out.
On Saturday, January 28th, there’s a Pokémon battle academy at the Petawawa Public Library (ages 12-18 from 10:00am to 12:00pm & ages 18+ from 1:00pm to 4:00pm) and stand up comedy night and dance featuring absolute comedy with doors opening at 6:30pm.
On Sunday, January 29th, there’s a Cabin Fever Breakfast at the Petawawa Presbyterian Church from 8:30am to 1:00pm (for a very reasonable cost), free skating at the Civic Centre Arena from 1:00pm to 2:00pm and Civitan Bingo in the Civic Centre Hall with doors opening at 5:30pm.
