Pembroke’s new Chief Administrative Officer has officially been appointed. David Unrau, the former Public Works Manager for the town of Petawawa, takes over of long-time CAO Terry Lapierre. Unrau was appointed to the position on December 13th and tells myFM that he’s grateful for the support during the transition.
Unrau tells myFM that the transition from being the Public Works Manager in Petawawa to the position is different, but he likes the challenge.
He also tells myFM that everyone has made him feel welcome.
Unrau says he is privileged to join the team at the City of Pembroke, serve the residents and looks forward to working with the new council and staff. He is a long-time Pembroke resident, a professional engineer, a community volunteer and sits on a number of municipal, national and provincial committees.
