Out of $505-million in new federal-provincial funding, only about $56,000 is coming to Renfrew County and the City of Pembroke through Phase 4 of the Safe Restart Agreement funding.
Pembroke will receive $7,354 and Renfrew will get $48,815.
The Sunshine Coach provides accessible transportation for people in Renfrew and area.
The Pembroke and Laurentian Valley Handi-Bus provides door-to-door service in the community.
The province says funding is to help municipal transit systems address costs related to COVID-19 between February 1st and December 31st.
Municipalities will be able to apply this funding to cover revenue losses, operating expenses, and provincial transit priority projects.
