A driver from Quebec is facing stunt driving charges after a traffic stop in Renfrew County.
The OPP says just before noon on November 18th, officers conducted a traffic stop along Highway 60 in North Algona Wilberforce.
The Killaloe OPP says the 30-year-old driver from Gatineau was travelling 68 kilometers per hour (km/hour) over the posted speed limit.
Officers clocked the sport utility vehicle travelling 118 km/hour in a 50 km/hour zone.
In addition to laying stunt driving charges, the OPP also towed and impounded the vehicle for 14-days and seized and suspended the driver’s license for 30-days.
