Long-time Pembroke City Councillor Patricia Lafreniere has been re-elected for a sixth consecutive term. Lafreniere was first elected in 2002 and is grateful for the continued support.
Lafreniere was not surprised that Brian Abdallah was voted in as Deputy Mayor.
One of the big concerns Lafreniere says she heard on the campaign trail was local residents being concerned about safety around their homes.
Lafreinere will serve the next four years on council along with Ed Jacyno, Ian Kuehl, Andrew Plummer, Troy Purcel and Brian Abdallah. Ron Gervais has been acclaimed Mayor.
