Long-time local journalist and military spouse, Cyndi Mills is hoping to earn votes for a spot on Petawawa town council on October 24th. Mills recently ran in the last federal election for the Liberal Party and is using that experience in her bid for local government. She tells myFM that living and being involved in the community for so long gives her an edge.
Mills also notes that during her time with local media outlets, she’s been able to see how the municipality and town council operate firsthand. Now, she wants to join the team.
Not only has she worked as a journalist, Mills mentions to myFM news what other qualifications are on her resume.
Cyndi Mills is one of 11 people running for a seat on Petawawa Town Council.
