The Ottawa Valley is set to vote on Monday evening, so make sure you have your voter information card.
Jennifer Charkavi, the Chief Administrative Officer with Admaston/Bromley, says get in touch with your local municipal office if yours is lost or hasn’t shown up.
That sentiment is echoed by Annette Gilchrist, the Chief Administrative Officer in Eganville, who says your voter card is vital to know where and how to vote.
It also will let you know if something about the election has changed this year, like in her neck of the woods.
Do you have questions about the October 24th vote? Let town hall know right away, because Charkavi says that municipal clerks and staff are trained to help you.
She adds that if you’ve moved recently, it’s also a good idea to check in with the town staff where you used to live.
Charkavi says you can get in line on election day even without your voter information card and staff will be able to help you. Just be sure to have the right identification with you no matter if you’re doing paper ballots, voting using an electronic system, or going online.
Advance voting continues today in many townships in Renfrew County. Check your voter information card or your municipality’s website to see how you can skip the lines on Monday.
