Police in Killaloe responded to a single-vehicle collision on the evening of Friday, October 7th where a car had lost control along Centennial Ridges Road near Highway 60 in Algonquin Provincial Park.
The 25-year-old driver from Toronto lost control of their car before leaving the roadway and hitting a nearby tree.
They were not hurt in the crash but did pick up a single careless driving charge after officers completed their investigation.
Killaloe OPP did not say if they counted that charge as part of their 33 total bookings during Operation Impact, which focused on drunk and distracted driving, speeding, and not using seatbelts over the Thanksgiving weekend.
