The Town of Deep River has lifted a boil water advisory.
The Renfrew County District Health Unit (RCDHU) first issued the precautionary boil water advisory five days ago (September 29th at 9:00am) after a loss of pressure in the distribution system that lasted about 30-minutes.
Town staff say since the initial pressure loss, no negative test results were reported and chlorine residual levels remained within legislated ranges at all times.
Bacteria samples were taken showing the towns water supply remained within legislated parameters.
The Town of Deep River says the municipal water was potable through the boil water advisory period.
Town staff say you can use municipal water as you normally would effective immediately.
If you have any questions, you can contact the Town at 613-584-2000 ext. 107 or RCDHU at 613-732-3629 ext. 569.
