Dorian Pearce is running for a seat on Pembroke City Council.
Pearce wants Pembroke to be the most thriving little city in Ontario where everyone feels welcome and belongs. To do that, Pearce says we need broad and inclusive representation from all elected officials.
Pearce is running with two other candidates, Chéla Breckon and Jane Wood. If all three are elected, they would represent half of the city council vote, something Pearce feels will help move Pembroke forward.
Pearce says we need more recreation and activities in Pembroke, public transit that works and arrives on time and suggests having quarterly listening sessions to hear the concerns of residents.
The team of Dorian Pearce, Chéla Breckon and Jane Wood are three of the candidates running for Pembroke City Council.
Other people running for council in Pembroke include Brian Abdallah, Dan Callaghan, Andrew (Andy) Clark, Ed Jacyno, Ian Kuehl, Patricia (Pat) Lafreniere, Jason Laronde, Andrew Plummer, Troy Purcell, Stacy Taylor, Wade Wallace and Karen Walsh.
