You can register until August 7th to take part in the free Youth Entrepreneur Market in Petawawa.
Economic Development Officer Christine Mitchell says the market will take place on Friday, August 12th, from noon to 4:00pm.
She says any youth vendors, whether they are selling lemonade or doing dog washes to raise money for the OSPCA, can register for the event on the towns website.
Mitchell says the youth market will be on the final day of the municipal entrepreneurship camp where kids between the ages of 8 and 12 learned from business owners and industry representatives.
The youth market will be located at the Petawawa Container Market site (16 Civic Centre Road) and will be followed by the regular night market from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.
Enterprise Renfrew County and Summer Company Plus are supporting the youth entrepreneurship market and former Summer Company participants are welcome to attend.
Interested youth are encouraged to register to reserve a free booth space as spots are limited.
