The opening ceremonies for the 25th anniversary for the Town of Petawawa is coming up on Thursday, June 30th at Norman Behnke Hall starting at 1:00pm. In 1997, the Township and Village came together to form the Town of Petawawa. Recreation Coordinator Colin Coyle says they have a busy 4-day schedule of events with most things free to attend.
He expects the event will draw in crowds of people to Petawawa as it’s the first large scale event in town in over two and a half years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Coyle says the full schedule of events is available on the towns website.
The Town of Petawawa’s 25th anniversary celebration starts Thursday, June 30th and continues until Sunday, July 3rd.
