Summerfest returns to Deep River this year. The event usually runs every second year, but due to COVID-19, has not been held since 2018. Deep River Mayor Suzanne D’Eon says it’s a big event in the community.
While it was not budgeted for this year, council has agreed to provide a $10,000 grant to support Summerfest this year.
Mayor D’Eon adds going forward town staff will look to budget $5,000 a year to be able to provide the festival a $10,000 grant when it’s hosted.
Deep River Summerfest will be held from July 29th to 31st, 2022.
One wristband gives you access to all three days of Summerfest activities. The cost is $15 for youth (13 to 18) and seniors (60+), $20 for adults and kids 12 and under get in for free. Wristbands will be on sale at the main gate during the Summerfest weekend and no day passes are available.
