Hudson McKeown is celebrating his 8th birthday next week is looking for donations to support animals in need in our community instead of presents and gifts.
His father Brad McKeown says all his friends who are coming over for the birthday party this weekend have been asked to bring a $20 donation to the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre instead of a gift.
Brad says his son Hudson is the one who came up with the idea to support the animals, adding they adopted their cats from the animal centre in Pembroke 4-years ago.
Donations to support the OSPCA can be made online and myFM will provide an update on how much Hudson was able to raise when he drops off the donation next week!
