Anna Dolan is a retired architect that had vacationed in the riding all her life, and at the end of her career she and hubby moved to the Barry’s Bay area.
This is her second shot at elected office, as Dolan ran in the 2018 Provincial Election.
While the Green vote share was 3 percent four years ago, Anna says a number of students she was impressed with last time are now voting age.
A good civics education for them Dolan ranks as her number three priority, so they can better understand how government works.
She says being on the ballot is a way to keep the other guys honest.
Dolan’s other issues are health care, and food security on a hearty agricultural base.
She opposes Ministerial Zoning Orders that detour the planning process- and while the NSDF is a Federal issue, she’s very concerned about its implications.
Anna Dolan’s campaign strategy is to maximize voters exposure to the Green Party’s views.
On June 2nd Anna Dolan shares the R-N-P ballot with incumbent PC John Yakabuski, Kurt Stoll of the NDP,
Liberal Oliver A. Jacob, Kade Macwilliams of the Ontario Party, COR nominee Murray Reid and the New Blue’s Thomas O’Connor.
