The Pembroke Public Library has recently undertaken some extensive renovations.
Circulation and IT Coordinator Anna Ritza tells myFM some of the work they’ve done over the last two years includes installing new shelves, enhancing the wifi service and they’re getting ready to start a flooring project.
Ritza says they have some exciting stuff planned for the grand opening on April 4th, 2022, including draw for prizes, giveaways and some displays.
The Circulation and IT Coordinator at the Pembroke Public Library says they offer more than just books.
Residents can take out ukuleles, sign out the property identification tool from the Pembroke Police Services Board, use in house laptops and fax documents if needed.
Ritza says the library is a community resource hub and staff are looking forward to welcoming people to see the newly renovated facility.
