The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting the number of patients who have COVID-19 in local hospitals continues to climb.
A 25th person has also died from complications due to the virus.
The detailed case summary put out this afternoon shows 40 residents in Renfrew County and District are currently in the hospital with COVID-19 including four in the intensive care unit.
Another 209 people are isolating at home after testing positive for the virus.
Information from the RCDHU shows COVID-19 outbreaks at Valley Manor long-term care home, Community Living – Upper Ottawa Valley, Country Haven Retirement Home, Bonnechere Manor long-term care home, Riverview Heights retirement home, Arnprior Villa, Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital (inpatient unit), Champlain Gardens, Community Living – Madawaska Valley and the Shalom unit at Marianhill long-term care home in Pembroke.
COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared over at Community Living – Renfrew South and the Bernadette McCann House.
