The City of Pembroke has received an update on plans for the Lapointe Subdivision.
The city and developer entered into a pre-servicing agreement Tuesday night (February 1st, 2022).
This agreement allows the developer to initiate the construction of servicing works within the subdivision.
A pre-servicing agreement is typically completed prior to a Subdivision Agreement to allow for construction to commence prior to registration.
The developer would like to begin to immediately bring materials to the site in preparation for installing the services.
A draft subdivision plan was approved by the City of Pembroke back in December of 1998, with revisions completed 21-years later, in 2019.
The subdivision includes 45 single residential lots with a park area included.
The proposed subdivision is located off of Boundary Road behind the West End Mall in Pembroke.
