It’s almost been one year since the Pembroke Regional Hospital launched their Cancer Care Campaign and the results so far have been incredible. Community Fundraising Specialist with the PRH Foundation, Leigh Costello says the response from the Ottawa Valley and beyond is truly heartwarming.
The $3.5 million goal will provide a complete makeover of the cancer ward at the hospital so local patients don’t have to make their way to Ottawa. Costello says there is lots to look forward to in 2022.
And there are other ways to support the campaign through the year.
In 2020, alone, over 168 individuals made more than 1,178 visits to the Pembroke Regional Hospital to receive their much needed cancer treatments.
