The City of Pembroke is reminding residents there is free public skating available at the Pembroke Memorial Centre (PMC) today (December 30th, 2021).
The series of free skates over the past four days have been sponsored by Canadian Nuclear Laboratories and Deputy Mayor Ron Gervais.
The PMC will be open from 1:30pm to 3:00pm for the skate.
Like other recreation facilities in Ontario and across the Ottawa Valley, all skaters and spectators over the age of 12 have to show proof of vaccination at the door (two doses plus 14-days).
Masks are also required while inside the PMC and on the ice.
