Police are reminding drivers to clear off their vehicles after an incident in the Ottawa Valley.
The Killaloe OPP says on Sunday, December 12th, officers responded to two collisions in North Algona Wilberforce.
Around 10:55am, police responded to a single vehicle crash involving a pick-up truck on Highway 60 near Bulger Road. The OPP says a 57-year-old driver from Cobden received minor injuries after a chunk of ice flew off of a passing motorist vehicle, striking the windshield of the pickup truck.
Police are reminding drivers to clear snow and ice from their vehicles to ensure the driver has an unobstructed view and prevent ice and snow from flying off into the pathway of another vehicle.
Around 8:40pm, police responded to another single vehicle collision involving a passenger car on Grist Mill Road. The 29-year-old driver from Eganville sustained minor injuries after swerving to avoid a deer.
