Frederick Hubbard of Barry’s Bay has won a million dollars.
The winning ticket was for a MAXMILLIONS prize worth $1-millionfrom the June 15, 2021 LOTTO MAX draw.
Frederick says he has played the lottery weekly for decades adding this is this is his largest win.
The retiree says he purchased $10 more worth of tickets than he usually would and says this win came from the first line on the extra money he spent.
Frederick says he was at the gas station checking his tickets when he discovered his big win.
He says he saw all the zeroes and just about died!
He paid for his gas and went straight home to tell my wife who was more excited than he was.
Frederick, a father and grandfather, plans to share his winnings with his children, make some investments and put some money aside to travel when it’s safe.
The Barry’s Bay resident says he can’t describe this experience and adds it’s nice to know his family is taken care of.
The winning ticket was purchased at Lorraine’s Pharmasave on Opeongo Street in Barry’s Bay.
