Ullrich’s in Pembroke has been able to adapt during the COVID-19 pandemic. Director of Operations, Martin Ullrich, says the local support has been incredible. Ullrich says while the restaurant side of things will stay closed for now, they’re starting to see catering coming back with a vengeance.
Ullrich says people are excited to be having weddings and gathering again and while it was a good break, they’re back in the full swing of things.
When the pandemic hit, Ullrich’s closed the sit-in restaurant and expanded the storefront to include produce and everything you would find at a market.
The director of operations says while they still have the online store, customers prefer to come in to see all the products in person and get the full experience.
Ullrich’s continues to be busy, but with more people allowed in-store, the line-up downtown Pembroke might not seem as long.
The local butcher, deli, market and catering company is located at 214 Pembroke Street West.
