With zip lines, tree top obstacle courses and a via ferrata, Chutes Coulonge has one of the top aerial parks in Eastern Canada.
Audio PlayerDirector Andre Piche says they’re a historical park has a beautiful 48 meter (157 feet) waterfall from top to bottom with a 1.2 kilometer walk, five lookouts, two secure bridges above the falls and a logging museum.
Audio PlayerPiche says COVID-19 restrictions that limited travel between Ontario and Quebec had a significant impact on business, but he adds once that changed, they saw a spike in people coming to Chutes Coulonge.
Piche says they are following all COVID-19 guidelines and once you’re outside and able to space out you don’t need to wear a mask.
For those looking for overnight accommodations, Chutes Coulonge also has two Yurts with wood stoves, skylights, a mini fridge, electricity and bunk beds. You do have to bring your own sheets, blankets, and pillows.
With more visitors coming to the park, reservations are required for aerial activities. Reservations can be made online or by calling 819-683-2770.
The location at 100 Promenade Du-Parc-des-Chutes in Mansfield, Quebec and is only about 45-minutes away from Pembroke, Ontario or about an hour and a half from Ottawa.
Chutes Coulonge is open Wednesday to Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
