The Riverside Park Lending Hub in Pembroke will open at 8:00am on Monday, June 14th.
The Lending Hub offers paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, and sports equipment rentals at no charge to local residents.
Hours are the same as the Riverside Park Campground, from Sunday to Thursday 8:00am to 10:00pm and Friday and Saturday, 8:00am to 12:00am.
Pembroke Mayor Mike Lemay says they’re happy to be opening even more outdoor recreational amenities for the enjoyment of local residents.
According to the City of Pembroke website, to take part in the sport equipment lending hub, residents in the area must fill out the Recreation Equipment Loan Agreement.
Large items such as bicycles, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards must be signed out by people 18 and older and a credit card number is to be left on file until the item is returned.
The Lending Hub is located at the Kiwanis Field House at Riverside Park in Pembroke.
