No charges will be laid after a single vehicle collision in Madawaska Valley over the weekend. OPP responded to the crash on Chapeski Mill Drive, near Paugh Lake Road just after 10AM on Sunday. The driver of the SUV indicated they swerved to miss an animal on the road, lost control of the vehicle and struck the rock cut. The 72-year-old driver from Barry’s Bay, and lone occupant, was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
