Laurentian Valley is asking the County of Renfrew to install “no parking” signs along TV Tower Road (County Road 36).
The Township has requested the signs be put up about 500 meters north and south of the Algonquin Trail on both sides of the road.
A by-law has been passed to restrict parking on that section of roadway.
Town staff say they’ve received several complaints about vehicles parking on both sides of the road and are also often contacted about excessive speed in the area.
The County of Renfrew operations committee will discuss the recommendation as part of their virtual meeting tomorrow (January 12th, 2020).
