Santa is coming to Deep River this weekend!
The Santa Claus Parade in Deep River is going ahead, but will look different than it has in previous years.
Instead of vehicles decorated for the holidays driving through downtown with crowds of people watching, the parade will drive by homes in the Town of Deep River on Saturday, December 5th.
A map shows the parade starting at the Deep River Town Hall at 5:30pm and making over 50 twists and turns down local neighbourhoods before coming to an end.
Other events on Saturday include an Ugly Christmas Sweater Free Skate at the Deep River arena from 1:55pm to 2:45pm and another free skate from 7:20pm to 8:10pm. Registration for the free skates is available online.
Some of the local downtown businesses in Deep River will also be having sidewalk sales on Saturday.
