Power is out for over 200 people in the east end of Pembroke following a major storm this afternoon.
Hydro One says power should be restored by 7:00pm. More details are available on the outage map.
Around 3:00pm reports of a microburst or possible tornado were received for the Drive Inn Road area of Pembroke and Laurentian Valley. No confirmation of touchdown has been received, but serious damage could be seen in the neighborhood.
Emergency crews were on the scene this afternoon, including Laurentian Valley Firefighters, County of Renfrew Paramedics and the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP.
