The Petawawa Point Beach is open for the season.
The town says the water fountain has been bagged and beach goers are asked to not drink the tap water for the time being.
While the beach is open you’re asked to follow the posted signage and health and safety recommendations to protect yourself and those in the community.
The Petawawa Point beach will be open daily from dawn to dusk.
