The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) says a total of 3,033 people with symptoms have been tested for COVID-19. The new numbers released at noon today (May 26th) show an increase in 27 tests from the day before. The RCDHU says 2,827 tests have been completed for residents and staff with no symptoms at long-term care and retirement homes across Renfrew County and District
The local health unit is not reporting any new cases of COVID-19 today. The number of confirmed cases across Renfrew County and District remains at 20 with 15 considered resolved and one death. Riverview Heights retirement home in Pembroke remains in an active outbreak status. The RCDHU says they are working with all 21 long-term care and retirement homes in our area to help prevent and contain any COVID-19 outbreaks.
