Marianhill long-term care home in Pembroke is allowing the delivery of flowers for Mother’s Day. In a message shared on the homes website, Marianhill says because Mother’s Day is such a special occasion for residents and families, they are easing COVID-19 restrictions to allow flowers to be delivered.
In order to keep everyone safe, staff ask that you order directly from a local flower shop and have them deliver it, all vases must be able to be wiped down and disinfected and flowers must be delivered to the receiving entrance and clearly labelled with the name of the resident.
Deliveries of flowers for residents at Marianhill will be accepted on Saturday (May 9th) from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
During this time of isolation Marianhill says they want to provide families with a safe option to celebrate Mother’s Day.
