It seems like a case of deja vu, but someone drove into the RBC bank in Petawawa today (April 30th, 2020). The OPP says the individual hit the gas instead of the brakes and no injuries are being reported.
Just over a year ago (April 23rd, 2019) police and were called to a similar scene along Petawawa Boulevard when a driver hit the wrong pedal and accidentally drove into the same bank. No charges were laid in that incident and there was no injuries.
