The OPP has arrested two people following a drug bust in Pembroke. Around 1:00 pm on Tuesday (April 21st), officers conducted a traffic stop on Pembroke Street. As a result a quantity of suspected cocaine, equipment used for drug trafficking and over $300 in Canadian currency was seized by police.
39-year-old Major Charles and 39-year-old Kelly O’Grady are facing charges of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. Charles is also facing two counts of failure to comply with a probation order and another charge for failing to comply with a release order.
Both accused have been released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on June 23, 2020.
