With confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Renfrew county, Deep River and District Hospital is adopting some changes to their diagnostic imaging department and laboratory. Effective immediately, out-patient x-rays by appointment only will be conducted Monday to Friday between 9am and 11am. Doctors and Nurse Practitioners will fax requisitions to the department, who then reach out to patients directly to schedule an appointment. Meanwhile, effective April 6, blood tests will be completed by appointment on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:30am until 11am. Contact the hospital directly to book your appointment for blood work. Anyone arriving at the hospital for an appointment must enter through the emergency department and screening station.
